WHO I AM
I study technology.
I focus on people.
Hi, I’m Terencia Peebles.
I’ve spent more than 25 years working in corporate environments, primarily in information technology and organizational change management. My experience includes 15 years with IBM and 10 years with Xylem, a global water technology company.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly technology can change the way organizations operate. But one thing has always remained true: technology may drive change, but people determine how successfully that change takes hold.
My work has centered on helping organizations and employees navigate transformation with greater clarity, structure, and purpose. I understand that adopting new technology is not simply a technical undertaking. It requires thoughtful leadership, clear communication, workforce preparation, effective training, and a genuine understanding of how change affects the people expected to carry it forward.
Background & Perspective
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Legal and Policy Studies from Fordham University, with additional studies in organizational leadership. I am currently completing my master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Management and Policy at Purdue University, where I am expanding my knowledge of AI governance, responsible implementation, workforce readiness, organizational strategy, and the broader impact of artificial intelligence on businesses, employees, and society.
I am also a Certified Change Management Practitioner. Together, my professional experience, academic background, and certification allow me to examine AI transformation from multiple perspectives—including technology, policy, governance, organizational change, and the employee experience.
Today, my focus is on the human and organizational side of AI: how leaders prepare their organizations, how employees adapt, how responsible governance is established, and what it takes to move beyond simply implementing AI to making it work in practice.
What I share & Believe
As I complete my master’s program, I’ll use this website to share what I have learned along the way. I’ll offer insights and practical perspectives on AI implementation, workforce readiness, workplace transformation, AI governance, and the ways emerging technology is reshaping how we lead and work.
This space is not about having every answer. It is a place to explore important questions, translate complex ideas into practical insights, and share knowledge that can help leaders and organizations approach AI-driven change more thoughtfully.
I am especially interested in helping small and midsize organizations navigate this transformation. These organizations may not have the extensive resources of larger corporations, but they still need practical strategies for preparing their workforce, managing risk, communicating change, and encouraging meaningful adoption.
My perspective is grounded in experience, continued learning, and a deep respect for people. Employees should never be treated as an afterthought in technological transformation. They deserve to understand what is changing, why it is changing, how it may affect their work, and what support will be available to help them succeed.
I believe the organizations that thrive in the age of AI will be the ones that prepare their people not just their technology.
That belief is at the heart of everything I study, develop, and share
